​This webinar is for parents and guardians of neurodivergent youth ages 15+ and independent neurodivergent young adults. New/potential drivers are encouraged to attend with their guardian. Because our workshops build on each other, attendance at this webinar is a prerequisite to register for future in-person Neurodivergence and Driving workshops.

Grant Opportunity: Our grant program for novice drivers with neurodivergence began with a survey to families to determine perceptions about resources for learning to drive for this population. We have received over 120 responses from Coloradans so far and are using the information that we learned in the survey to create workshops and online resources for families!​ We welcome your perspective - If you have not taken the survey you can do so here:

​This workshop is for neurodivergent young adults ages 15+ who have already watched the Free/On Demand Driving with Neurodivergence Intro Webinar. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend as well. Permit or license is not required although you are still welcome if you have one!

Coaching an Anxious Driver Workshop

Occupational Therapist and Driver Rehab Specialist, Kathryn Seibert, presents this 60 minute live webinar for parents/guardians, driving partners, and healthcare professionals interested in learning more about how to coach an anxious driver. This is geared toward new driver training.

CarFit Workshop
This in person 20 minute session will include:

Review of standard vehicle safety features
-
Discussion of advanced safety features
-
CarFit - fitting the new driver to the the safety features of their vehicle (or our vehicle)

Any tasks in the vehicle are stationary - there will be no driving during this workshop.
​
​This workshop is for neurodivergent young adults ages 15+ who have an instructional permit or a license. It is ideal to do this event in the vehicle that you will be learning with. Parents/ guardians are encouraged to attend.

For permitted or licensed new drivers with neurodivergence who have already watched the Free/On Demand Driving with Neurodivergence Intro Webinar.
​
New drivers will work with law enforcement officers and occupational therapists who specialize in driving to learn exactly what to do when pulled over. We’ll also discuss self-disclosure so drivers are able to advocate for themselves in a safe and effective manner. No actual driving will take place - simulation is done in parked cars. Workshop is limited to 8 permitted or licensed drivers. Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend.
